This policy explains how Love Your Senses ("we", "us") handles your information when you use loveyoursenses.com. We keep it short and in plain English, because your privacy should not require a law degree to understand.
What we collect
We collect very little. There are two kinds of information:
- Information you give us. If you choose to join our list at the end of a quiz, we collect the email address you enter, and the quiz result you received so we can send you relevant recommendations.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we may collect basic, anonymous data about how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and the type of device used. This helps us improve the site. It does not identify you personally.
How we use it
- To send you your quiz results and occasional emails with recommendations and new quizzes, but only if you have chosen to join our list.
- To understand how the site is used so we can make it better.
Cookies and third parties
We rely on a small number of trusted third party services to run the site: our hosting provider, our email provider, and the affiliate networks whose links appear on the site.
When you click an affiliate link, that network may set a cookie so that any commission from a purchase is correctly credited to us. This is standard to how affiliate links work, and it does not tell us who you are. You can read more on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information, ever. We only share it with the service providers who help us operate the site, such as our email provider, and only so they can perform that service for us.
Your choices
You are in control. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link included in every email. You can also ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@loveyoursenses.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the UK GDPR.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address only for as long as you remain subscribed to our list. Once you unsubscribe, we remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top always shows the most recent version.
